Leak & flashing repair, traced to the actual hole.
The hardest thing about a roof leak is not the repair — it is finding the source. Water rarely emerges where it entered, and a hurried roofer will seal the wrong spot and walk away. We take the time to trace, photograph and confirm before we open a tin of sealant.
Trace first, seal second, confirm third.
Most repair jobs are over by lunchtime. A surveyor and one roofer arrive in a single van, lay down covers, and start tracing from the symptom (stain on the ceiling) back to the source (slipped tile, cracked flashing, blocked valley).
- Smoke and hose testing to confirm the entry point, not just the most likely tile.
- Aluminium-replacement flashing at chimneys, parapet walls, skylights and valleys.
- Tile re-bedding and ridge re-pointing with a flexible polymer mortar designed for thermal movement.
- A hose-soak confirmation before we sign off, so you see the same area stay dry under deliberate water.
What you can expect on the day.
Call-out & trace
A two-person team, ladder access, ground covers, smoke or hose tracing, and a photographic record of the entry point.
Repair on the same visit
Most leaks can be sealed on the first trip with the parts we carry in the van: spare tiles, flashing roll, sealant cartridges and re-pointing mortar.
Written report & warranty
A one-page report with before-and-after photographs and a two-year written warranty against re-occurrence of the same leak.
