Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2025. Dynaquo Roofworks Sdn Bhd (“we”, “our”) cares about your privacy. This document explains in plain English what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia.
1. Who we are
Dynaquo Roofworks Sdn Bhd, company number 202401034728 (1567893-M), with our workshop at 18A, Jalan SS 21/35, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. We are the data controller of personal information collected through this website.
2. What we collect
We only collect the information you actively give us. That falls into three categories:
- Quote enquiries. Your name, contact email, mobile or WhatsApp number, the address or suburb of the work, and the description of the issue you have submitted through the contact form.
- Site analytics. Anonymised data about the pages you visit, the device you used and the rough geographic region you visited from. We do not assign cookies or persistent identifiers for advertising purposes.
- Operational records. If you become a customer, we hold the documents associated with the work we did: quotes, invoices, hand-over photographs and warranty certificates.
3. Why we collect it
Quote-enquiry data is used to reply to you. Operational records are kept so we can honour our workmanship warranty for the ten-year window. Analytics is used to understand which pages help homeowners and which need rewriting.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever. We share it only with the small number of third parties that help us deliver the service: our accounting bureau (for invoicing and tax filing), our hosting provider (which physically stores this website), and an insurer in the event of a warranty claim. Each one is bound by a written confidentiality agreement.
5. How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twelve months. Customer records (quotes, invoices, photographs) are kept for ten years from the date of hand-over, after which they are securely destroyed. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months in aggregated form.
6. Where the data lives
Our website hosting is in a tier-3 data centre in Malaysia. Customer records sit on a UK-based business cloud service operated under our written processing agreement. Backups are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
7. Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, to ask us to delete data we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep, and to withdraw consent to our continued processing of your information.
8. How to exercise those rights
Write to us at [email protected] or by post to the workshop address. We will respond within fourteen working days. There is no fee unless your request is repetitive or manifestly excessive.
9. Security
The site is delivered over HTTPS, contact form data is encrypted in transit, and our internal systems require multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs, we will notify affected customers within seventy-two hours.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The version date at the top of the page tells you when the latest revision was published. Material changes are notified by email to anyone with an open enquiry or active customer relationship.
